After high school, she went on to earn a degree in Cosmetology from Honolulu Community College. Her love for the industry brought her to Hollywood, the mecca of the world’s beauty. There she attended the prestigious Westmore Academy of Arts and Make-up Designory Institute (MUD) where she fine-tuned her eye for detail and found her obsession for eyebrows.

Since returning to Hawaii, Vilma has taught Basic Skincare and Make-up Artistry for Susan Page Modeling Agency.  She has also worked at upscale resorts such as the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua.  She has had extensive training in many of the finest skincare lines as she was involved in opening top spas on the islands such as Aveda Salon and Spa, Fairmont Kealani and Four Seasons Resort and Spa. There she had the honor of working with prominent clients and some celebrities and even appeared on television.

Vilma’s passion for beauty and her dynamic personality consistently earned her raving reviews from her clients over the past 2 decades of being in the business. While she enjoyed the upscale clientele that the resorts provided her, Vilma yearns to give back and connect with those closer to home. Her goal is to be able to offer the same pampering high-quality services she provided for her resort clients to her local community. After all, she believes that beauty on the outside radiates to beauty felt within.
